The biggest news is that Tatum is now crawling everywhere! One day she was just still taking it easy or traveling backwards and then...BAM...one day she just went for it and it was if she had been doing it for months. I just love sitting down on the floor with her and watching her face move around the room to see where she would like to go next. I get so excited for her. My only concern is that she would rather be crawling or walking with mom and dad's hands then snuggling with us, but such is life.
Just about the same day she started really going fast with her crawling- her two front top teeth showed up. A couple of months behind the two bottoms. Did anyone forget to tell me how hard it is to see your child go through this??? Yikes! Some of the longest days of my life!!! All the homeopathic tablets and drops, a few daps of Tylenol, tons of rocking chair hours, and even more cuddling and pacing around the room with her in my arms. My poor angel! Lets pray that the next teeth are nicer!
We have been going out to dinner at least twice a week, spending time with family, and taking tours of homes with our realtor in hopes to find our dream home. Trust me...Erik and I are picky and want a pool so who knows when the home will come along. My favorite part is looking at all there is to offer! Shhhh...don't tell our realtor that :)!
Other than that we have just been so busy with the mother's club while Erik has really been working hard- we love and appreciate him every day. Walks, library visits, play dates, and parks...we now have almost 25 moms involved and are loving it! We have also been spending our time this week and next at my parent's home in Sonoma while they are visiting my little sister in London- she turns 21 so they are traveling between London and Paris to celebrate. Wish our whole family was there! So I have been a busy mom and aunt while we have our 4.5 year old nephew, Blake, with us for the next 10 days! I know get to see the reality of having two children...I will keep you posted on my thoughts :)!
I also wanted to quickly express how thrilled I am that Spring is here and Summer is around the corner. Today, March 27th, it was 86 degrees in Sonoma! I actually watered our garden. That's right...I am loving it!
